A Guide for Live Online Sessions at NM-AIST

How to Join a Session

  1. Login: Access Moodle using your Active Directory (LDAP) credentials.
  2. Locate Activity: Look for the BigBlueButton icon BBB Icon within your course sections.
  3. Enter Room: Click the activity name and select "Join Session". (Note: The button only appears when the instructor has started the session).
Completion Requirements

To satisfy Quality Assurance (QA) and NACTVET guidelines, completion is tracked via:

  • View: You must enter the virtual room.
  • Duration: Some sessions require a minimum time spent in the room to trigger a "Complete" status.

Audio/Video Issues?

Always choose "Microphone" (not Listen Only) when prompted by the echo test. Use the Google Chrome or Firefox browser for the best experience on the NM-AIST server.
